Significant programs towards ensuring the health of livestock in Hagaz sub-zone has boosted the number of livestock in the sub-zone, according to owners of livestock.

Hagaz, May 31, 2011- Significant programs towards ensuring the health of livestock in Hagaz sub-zone has boosted the number of livestock in the sub-zone, according to owners of livestock.
Indicating that there exists lush fertile land as well as water reservoirs in the sub-zone making it attractive for livestock breeding, the farmers said that efforts to this end are making an impressive headway.
Noting that livestock in general and dairy cows in particular are now taken to Darotai, the farmers also pointed out that the grouping of cattle in the area has created grounds for uniform and ordered distribution of dairy products.
