Prizes awarded to winners of general knowledge competition

The winners of general knowledge competition that were presented in Hadas Ertra newspaper and ERI-TV in connection with the celebrations of the 20th anniversary of Independence Day have received awards.

Asmara, 2 June 2011 – The winners of general knowledge competition that were presented in Hadas Ertra newspaper and ERI-TV in connection with the celebrations of the 20th anniversary of Independence Day have received awards.  The National Holiday Coordinating Committee organized the program.

Participants from ministries, colleges and Administrative regions took part in the general knowledge competition which was conducted via ERI-TV live. Mr. Aman Mohammed Jemal received an award amounting to 125,000 Nakfa for top performance in the TV contest.

Three other participants out of a total 3,000 competitors also won in the general knowledge competition presented in the newspaper that comprised 100 questions in the series of 10 consecutive editions.
