Minister Urges Students To Make Good Use Of Available Educational Opportunity

In a meeting with secondary school students in Keren town, the Minister of Education, Mr. Semere Russom, called on them to avail themselves of the available educational opportunities.
Keren, 6 June 2011 – In a meeting with secondary school students in Keren town, the Minister of Education, Mr. Semere Russom, called on them to avail themselves of the available educational opportunities.

He indicated that Eritrea’s resource depends on its human capacity, and urged the students to demonstrate academic excellence. Highlighting the significance of information flow in strengthening educational programs and improving socio-economic status of the people, Mr. Semere reminded them to avoid any sub-national sentiments and exert maximum efforts in their academic pursuit. 

The director of the Warsay-Yikaalo School, Mr. Kiflai Andemichael, said on his part that Sawa is playing major role in nurturing dynamic youths, as it is the center of nationalism, study and research. It is also making significant contribution in inculcating the habit of hard work and experience among students.
