Inhabitants of Defere express satisfaction with Access to Potable Water

The inhabitants of Defere, Serejaka sub-zone, and expressed satisfaction for getting access to reliable potable water supply.

Asmara, June 7, 2011 – The inhabitants of Defere, Serejaka sub-zone, and expressed satisfaction for getting access to reliable potable water supply.

They told ERINA that previously they used to drink water from streams along with their cattle. At present, however, they are relieved of water-borne diseases thanks to the implementation of potable water supply project by the Government.
The modern project involves a well and 4 water distribution stations.
