The living standards of the inhabitants of Central Denkalia sub-zone has significantly improved thanks to the development endeavors accomplished to-date, according to the head of Economic Development of the sub-zone, Mr. Teklit Gebrehiwet.
Assab, June 8, 2011- The living standards of the inhabitants of Central Denkalia sub-zone has significantly improved thanks to the development endeavors accomplished to-date, according to the head of Economic Development of the sub-zone, Mr. Teklit Gebrehiwet.
Speaking to ERINA, Mr. Teklit stated that the Government’s endeavors to ensure social justice through the provision of the required service-rendering amenities have enabled them to lead better lives and at present there are 7 schools, 5 kindergarten, 1 junior level boarding school as well as 1 community health center in the subzone.
He further pointed out that regarding the provisions of communication, supply of potable water and electricity, noteworthy constructs have been made in the sub-zone. Mr. Teclit further pointed out that the area that was deprived of any social service prior to independence.
Central Denkalia sub-zone has 16,000 inhabitants.
