Prisoners Of Law Offered Training In Various Vocations

As part of efforts to ensure the provision of equitable social services, the Penitentiary and Rehabilitation Center in Mendefera offered academic course to prisoners of law detained at the center.
Mendefera, June 8, 2011-  As part of efforts to ensure the provision of equitable social services, the Penitentiary and Rehabilitation Center in Mendefera offered academic course to prisoners of law detained at the center.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, the head of the Center, Lt. Col. Tesfazghi Yohannes, stated that the program is aimed at upgrading academic and vocational competence of the prisoners of law, and thereby ensure their bright future. 

On his part, the head of the National Union of Eritrean Youth and Students in the Southern region, Mr. Hager Ganzai called for the trainees to utilize the opportunity they were provided with. He also promised that the library found at the center will be improved.
