A reforestation campaign is underway in Nakfa’s Martyrs Cemetery, according to reports. Nakfa, June 12, 2011- A reforestation campaign is underway in Nakfa’s Martyrs Cemetery, according to reports.
In an interview with Erina, Mr. Tesfalem Zewde, an expert in reforestation campaigns said that the objective of the campaign has been to set up a green park around the area.
Expressing his pride for participating in the reforestation program to commemorate the martyrs, one of the inhabitants, Mr. Omer Idris , said that he’s satisfied with his involvement in the program.
The campaign, in which students and local inhabitants are participating in, is going to continue for the coming 3 months, according to reports.
