President Isaias Receives Credentials Of Various Ambassadors

President Isaias Afwerki today received the credentials of the Ambassador of the U.K., Mrs. Sandra Tyler-Haywood, the Ambassador of Italy, Mr. Marcello Fondi, and the Ambassador of the Netherlands, Mr. RAMAKER Johannes Petrus.
Asmara, 17 June 2011 – President Isaias Afwerki today received the credentials of the Ambassador of the U.K., Mrs. Sandra Tyler-Haywood, the Ambassador of Italy, Mr. Marcello Fondi, and the Ambassador of the Netherlands, Mr. RAMAKER Johannes Petrus.

During the presentation ceremony at the Denden Hall, the President gave briefings on developments in the country and the region at large. He further expressed Eritrea’s strong desire to foster sound and solid relations with the aforementioned countries for mutual interest. In this regard, President Isaias asserted that the necessary collaboration would be extended to the  respective Ambassadors in discharging their duty. 

The Ambassadors said on their part that they would do their level best in developing relations of their respective countries with Eritrea, especially in the domains of trade and investment.
