Keren: Owners of business enterprises donated 700,000 Nakfa to martyrs’ families

Owners of various business enterprises in Keren town donated a total of 700,000 Nakfa in assistance to families of martyrs in connection with June 20. Keren, 18 June 2011- Owners of various business enterprises in Keren town donated a total of 700,000 Nakfa in assistance to families of martyrs in connection with June 20.

The chairman of the committee that took such a genuine initiative, Mr. Wolde Bariyay, stated that it is the obligation of every national to support families of fallen heroes, and that the donation gave them deep moral satisfaction.

The Administrator of Keren town, Mr. Tekie Keleta, stressed the significance of assuming the sacred initiatives taken by owners of business enterprises a community-based program.  He also commended those who took such benevolent initiatives.
