Martyrs’ Families Express Satisfaction with All-Round Endeavors

Martyrs’ families residing in the Central region noted the significance of the assistance being extended by the government and local inhabitants in upgrading their socio-economic wellbeing.
Asmara, June 19, 2011 – Martyrs’ families residing in the Central region noted the significance of the assistance being extended by the government and local inhabitants in upgrading their socio-economic wellbeing.

In an interview they conducted in connection with this year’s Martyrs Day, they stated that they are being supported through such genuine gestures of the government and Eritrean nationals. In this connection, the families of martyrs expressed pride over the martyrdom of their beloved ones.

A mother of a Martyr, Ms. Amleset Muzelo, and a father of 5 Martyrs, Mr. Tekeste Ogbamichael pointed out that in addition to the Government’s regular benefit scheme, the general public is extending utmost support in all activities.

Pointing out that our Independence required a sacrifice of loved ones; the families went on to laud the all-round assistance of the people and the Government.
