The support extended to the families of fallen heroes is a display of the cherished values of the Eritrean people, according to religious leaders in Anseba region.
Keren, June 21, 2011- The support extended to the families of fallen heroes is a display of the cherished values of the Eritrean people, according to religious leaders in Anseba region.
Speaking to Erina, the religious leaders underlined that Eritrea has become a sovereign nation in which its citizens live peacefully and in harmony thanks to the sacrifice made by our Martyrs.
His Holiness Abuna Yohannes Tewoldemedhn of the Eritrean Tewahdo Church of Anseba region said that had it not been for the sacrificed made on part of our Martyrs, Eritrea would not be a sovereign nation.
The Mufti of Anseba region, Sheik Ali Mohammed Ali and the Secretary General of the Catholic Eparchy of Keren, Father Ogbagabr Woldegiorgis on their part called for the stepping-up of support being extended to the families of fallen heroes.
Father Paulos Adem, priest at the Evangelical Lutheran Church on Keren also said that we are duty-bound to support families of fallen heros.
The religious leaders at the end called for the stepping-up of support to families of Martyrs and to increase our unity and keep the legacy of our martyrs.
