Ginda, 22 June 2011 – Government employees and owners of service-rendering institutions in Ginda rose about 360,000 Nakfa and was subsequently extended to needy families of martyrs.
The Administrator of Ginda sub-zone, Ms. Amna Haj Osman, explained that the assistance is in line with the program launched in 2008. The continued noble initiatives by the people fully attest to the existing deep respect to martyrs, she added.
The head of administration and finance in the sub-zone, Mr. Tewolde Tesfazgi, said on his part that the raised money was distributed to a total of 232 families of fallen heroes, while benevolent Eritrean national residing abroad who wishes to remain unanimous donated 6,000 Nakfa each to 21 martyrs’ families.
The benefiting families of martyrs expressed satisfaction with the continued assistance being extended by the people and the Government.
