Nuew Branch In Jeddah Conducts 3rd Congress

The NUEW branch in Jeddah conducted its 3rd congress on June 16 under the theme: “Our Strength Lies on Our Unity.”
Asmara, 22 June 2011 – The NUEW branch in Jeddah conducted its 3rd congress on June 16 under the theme: “Our Strength Lies on Our Unity.”

The head of public affairs in Jeddah, Mr. Saleh Mahmoud Sabe, commended the participation of NUEW members in the Jeddah in national programs in the Homeland.

The Chairperson of the branch office, Ms. Saba Sebhatu, outlined work accomplishments of the Union. The members also elected a new executive committee for the next two years.

The participants of the congress adopted a number of resolutions and recommendation, including the need to upgrade the academic status of young women and enhance assistance to families of martyrs.
