Hagaz School of Agricultural technique graduates 171 students

A total of 171 students out of whom 95 are females graduated from Hagaz School of Agricultural technique yesterday following a two-year course in the fields of agro-mechanics, animal science, plant science, soil and water conservation.

Hagaz, 25 June 2011 – A total of 171 students out of whom 95 are females graduated from Hagaz School of Agricultural technique yesterday following a two-year course in the fields of agro-mechanics, animal science, plant science, soil and water conservation.

During the graduation ceremony, Brother Woldehawariat Haile, urged the graduates to live up to the nation’s expectations.

Also speaking on the occasion, the director general of technical and vocational education in the Ministry of Education, Mr. Tesfai Sium, pointed out that the Government is giving top priority to the development of the education sector. The fact that thousands of skilled manpower nurtured over the past years of independence fully attest to such a commitment, he added.

A representative of the graduating batch voiced determination to properly translate the newly acquired skill in practice.

Hagaz School of Agricultural Technique has graduated about 1,300 students in diploma and certificate since 1999.
