Over 200 students graduate from Asmara Technical School

A total of 208 students graduated from Asmara Technical School today upon completion of a 2-year course in the fields of auto-mechanic, machine shop, building construction, wood work, general metal, electricity shop, drafting, electronics and survey. Asmara, 25 June 2011 – A total of 208 students graduated from Asmara Technical School today upon completion of a 2-year course in the fields of auto-mechanic, machine shop, building construction, wood work, general metal, electricity shop, drafting, electronics and survey.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, the head of pedagogy in the School, Mr. Mebrahtu Sereke, congratulated the graduates, parents and teachers, and called on the graduating batch to further deepen their knowledge and live up to the nation’s expectations.

The director of quality control and supervision of technique in the Education Ministry, Mr. Measho Gebretinsae, indicated that the Government is making substantial investment towards developing human resource with a view to ensuring solid economic growth.

Representative of the graduates said on his part that they would serve the people and the nation with diligence.

Maj. General Philipos Woldeyohannes handed prizes to students who demonstrated excellence in their academic pursuit.
