A total of 245 students graduated from Mai-Habar Technical School upon completion of a two-year course in 8 different fields of study.
Asmara, 28 June 2011 – A total of 245 students graduated from Mai-Habar Technical School upon completion of a two-year course in 8 different fields of study.
Speaking during the graduation ceremony, Mr. Wehab Mohammed Ali, said that the graduates pursued various courses in the fields of auto-mechanics, building construction, drafting, electricity, general metal works, plumping, survey and wood works.
Likewise, the director general of technical and vocational training in the Education Ministry, Mr. Tesfai Sium, explained that in line with the substantial investment made to develop human resource, the Government has opened a number of vocational training centers in different parts of the country. He also handed certificates and prizes to the graduates.
Mai-Habar Technical School which was established in 1994 has so far graduated about 2,124 students in certificate and diploma.
