The Administrator of the Northern Red Sea region, Ms. Tsegereda Woldegergis, urged all economic ventures to enhance contribution so as to raise productivity and create job opportunities.
Massawa, 2 July 2011 – The Administrator of the Northern Red Sea region, Ms. Tsegereda Woldegergis, urged all economic ventures to enhance contribution so as to raise productivity and create job opportunities.
In a meeting in Massawa with sub-zonal administrators, heads of ministries branch offices and representatives of associations, she indicated that thorough assessment has been undertaken as regards work accomplishments over the past 20 years.
Ms. Tsegereda further stressed the need for reinforcing soil and water conservation activities, promoting reserve land in Debubawi and Semenawi Bahri, Baqla, Endilal, Nacfa, Umle and Denanlo, besides giving due attention to promoting the development of animal resource.
The Administrator also highlighted the need to strengthen health campaign, increase student participation in education, enhancing support to families of martyrs and mapping out master plan of various areas, among others.
