Cattle Vaccination Campaign Undertaken In Karora Sub-Zone

In line with efforts to boost animal production and ensure their health, cattle vaccination campaign was undertaken in Karora sub-zone, according to Mr. Adem Saleh from the veterinary service in the sub-zone.
Karora, 4 July 2011 – In line with efforts to boost animal production and ensure their health, cattle vaccination campaign was undertaken in Karora sub-zone, according to Mr. Adem Saleh from the veterinary service in the sub-zone.

Accordingly, over 52 livestock resource and 200 dogs received vaccines. He stated that the campaign has a vital role to play in ensuring the health of animals, and that no animal disease has so far been witnessed.

Stressing the need for farmers to back up the veterinary campaign, Mr. Adem pointed out that animal feed is being distributed to farmers so as to raise milk production.
