Inhabitants Of Seriru And Asebui Laud The Well-Organized Rescue Operation From Natural Disaster

The inhabitants of Seriru and Asebui relocated to safe place following the incidence of earthquake and volcanic eruption on the 12th and 14th of June said that they are being provided with commendable care and assistance thanks to the coordinated rescue operation and rehabilitation program. Sireru, 4 July 2011 – The inhabitants of Seriru and Asebui relocated to safe place following the incidence of earthquake and volcanic eruption on the 12th and 14th of June said that they are being provided with commendable care and assistance thanks to the coordinated rescue operation and rehabilitation program.

They told ERINA that they have managed to save their lives from the dangerous natural disaster thanks to the well-organized and vigorous endeavors made on the part of the people, members of the Defense Force, administrative bodies and other government institutions.

The Administrators of Mabra administrative area, Mr. Ali Riedo and Ali Humed, noted that in the face of the volcanic eruption, the general public and members of the Defense Force immediately got engaged in rescuing the inhabitants and relocating them to safe place. In this connection, they commended their praiseworthy contribution in the rescue operation and the continued support being extended by the Government.

The Commander of the battalion that get engaged in the rescue operation, Adem Mohammed Adem, pointed out that members of the battalion have repeatedly moved into the site of the eruption so as to rescue the people.
