Youths in Barentu sub-zone said that the implementation of various development and infrastructure programs in different parts of the country, especially in Gash-Barka region symbolizes the nation’s promising prospects. Barentu, 4 July 2011 – Youths in Barentu sub-zone said that the implementation of various development and infrastructure programs in different parts of the country, especially in Gash-Barka region symbolizes the nation’s promising prospects.

They indicated that the construction of micro-dams, water reservoirs, bridges, roads and factories are the outcome of the active participation of youths in the development drive. In this connection, they voiced determination to fulfill what is expected of them in the nation-building process.

The youths further explained that the implementation of major development programs on the basis of the principle of self-reliance is bringing about noticeable improvement in the people’s standard of living.
