Concerted action being taken to boost production of Elabered Agro-Industrial Plant

Concerted action is being taken to upgrade and expand the Elabered Agro-Industrial Plant and boost production both in quality and quantity, according to Mr. Gergis Girmai, Administrator of Anseba region.

Elabered, 5 July 2011 – Concerted action is being taken to upgrade and expand the Elabered Agro-Industrial Plant and boost production both in quality and quantity, according to Mr. Gergis Girmai, Administrator of Anseba region.

In the course of a visit to observe the activities of the Plant, he explained that vigorous efforts are being made to raise milk and meat production, and that enriching underground water resource is being given due attention.

Mr. Gergis indicated that substantial investment has been made to introduce new machineries and processing materials, and as a result the tomato paste factory has already gone operational. There are also plans to introduce additional new machineries, he added.
