Accordingly, the inhabitants of Adi-Keih, Mendefera, Tekonda, Maelawiya and Awuhinie constructed embankments and terraces around the micro-dams of Adi-Wegera, Dikua, Ketin Kelai, Mearda and Hawatsu.
The Acting head of Abune administrative area, Mr. Habtegebrial Keshi Gebremeskel, explained that a dirt road running from Mearda to Awuhinie has been renovated through popular campaign.
Meanwhile, the inhabitants of Maelewia and Mesgolo-Zula constructed terraces and embankments, besides digging 100 holes for planting tree seedlings.
