Inhabitants of Golij undertake soil and water conservation activities

Reports indicated that the activities aimed at properly preserving rainfall, and thereby boost agricultural production. The participants of the campaign highlighted the importance of lectures and campaigns offered for raising their awareness regarding the significance of soil and water conservation.

The head of the Agriculture Ministry’s branch in the area, Mr. Amine Berhane, said on his part that undertaking soil and water conservation activities have a vital role to play in boosting output. More than 800 people are taking active role in the task, he added.
