The Administrator of Shebah, Mr. Afa Abur, said that there exist about 3,000 hectares of fertile farm land in the area and that the farming community is currently engaged in constructing terraces, embankments and other water division schemes.
Meanwhile, the head of the branch office of the Ministry of Agriculture, Mr. Kidane Yhidego, commended the vigorous endeavors of farmers in the area, and called on them to continue the initiative with added fervor.
Shebah, which is located 25 Km. north of Gahtelai, is one of the 16 administrative areas of Ginda sub-zone.
