Extensive Public Campaign Undertaken In Halhal

The inhabitants of eight administrative areas in Halhal sub-zone carried out extensive public campaign so as to boost agricultural production, disclosed Mr. Fitsum Senai, representative of the Ministry of Agriculture in the sub-zone. Halhal, 7 July 2011 – The inhabitants of eight administrative areas in Halhal sub-zone carried out extensive public campaign so as to boost agricultural production, disclosed Mr. Fitsum Senai, representative of the Ministry of Agriculture in the sub-zone.

He pointed out that the local inhabitants have conducted soil and water conservation activities, in addition to construction of terraces, embankments and roads. Mr. Fitsum further indicated that effective task has been accomplished through active participation of the local inhabitants that would reinforce endeavors to achieve food security.
