Directors, supervisors, sub zonal administrators, members of the Ministry of Education and PFDJ members of the Southern Red Sea region met and disclosed that participation of students in education grew by 6% in the region.
Assab, 10 July2011- Directors, supervisors, sub zonal administrators, members of the Ministry of Education and PFDJ members of the Southern Red Sea region met and disclosed that participation of students in education grew by 6% in the region.
Head of the Ministry of Education branch of the region, Mr. Abdella Mohammed Osman noted that intensive efforts were exerted to ensure provision of educational facilities in the remotest areas of the region and that promising progresses are being registered.
On top of this, special programs have been arranged for students between the ages of 9 and 14, while 51 stations have been opened for illiteracy eradication programs.
Director General of the department of general education in the ministry, Mr. Mussa Hussein Naib pointed out the programs mapped out by the ministry at large and underlined the importance of reinforcing directors of schools to ensure quality administration of educational facilities.
