President Isaias Afewerki Returns Home From The Republic Of South Sudan

President Isaias Afewerki returned home in the morning hours today after participating in the official celebrations of declaration of the South Sudan Republic held yesterday. Asmara, 10 July 2011 -President Isaias Afewerki returned home in the morning hours today after participating in the official celebrations of declaration of the South Sudan Republic held yesterday.

During his stay in Juba, President Isaias met with the Secretary General of the United Nations Mr. Ban Ki Moon and held talks on relations concerning the United Nations and Eritrea as well as other issues of bilateral importance.

It is to be recalled that President Isaias took of to the republic of South Sudan on July 8.
