21 Eritrean women residing in Saskatoon, Canada, have taken the initiative of support 8 martyrs’ families, in addition to the 11 families they have been supporting. Asmara, 13 July 2011 –21 Eritrean women residing in Saskatoon, Canada, have taken the initiative of support 8 martyrs’ families, in addition to the 11 families they have been supporting. Mr. Zerai Tekleab from the Ministry of Labor and Human Welfare said that in line with the efforts being made by the Government in support of martyrs’ families, Eritrean nationals inside the country and abroad are making significant contribution to this end.
The representatives’ of the nationals, Ms. Mihret Tekle, stated that extending support to families of fallen heroes should not be shoulder only by the Government but the public at large. The beneficiaries on their part the support being extended to them is enabling them to cope with the challenges of day-to-day living.
