Foreign Minister Conveys Message Of Congratulations To People And Government Of Republic Of South Sudan

The Eritrean Foreign Minister, Mr. Osman Saleh, conveyed message of congratulations from the people and Government of Eritrea to the people and the Government of the Republic of South Sudan. Asmara, 13 July 2011 – The Eritrean Foreign Minister, Mr. Osman Saleh, conveyed message of congratulations from the people and Government of Eritrea to the people and the Government of the Republic of South Sudan.
In a meeting he conducted in Juba city yesterday with Dr. Barnaba Marial Benjamin, Minister of Information and Government Spokesman of the Republic of South Sudan, Mr. Osman asserted that Eritrea would stand on the side of the people and Government of the Republic of South Sudan in the same manner as it did to the right of the people of South Sudan for self-determination.

Commending Eritrea’s contribution to the victory of the struggle of the people of South Sudan, Dr. Barnaba also praised Eritrea’s role in the implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement.
Stating that Eritrea’s support to the struggle of the people of South Sudan includes paying human sacrifice; Dr. Branaba expressed deep conviction that such contribution would equally continue in an enhanced manner in the reconstruction endeavors of the Republic of South Sudan.

The senior official of the Republic of South Sudan described as exemplary the investment been made by Eritrean nationals in his country. He further noted that such activity would provide added impetus to the already existing ties.
