Administration Of Gash-Barka Extends Support To Quake Victims

The regional Administration of Gash-Barka has extended material support worth one million Nakfa to victims of the volcanic eruption in the Southern Red Sea region, stated Mr. Musa Rab’a, Administrator of Gash-Barka region.

Barentu, 18 July 2011 – The regional Administration of Gash-Barka has extended material support worth one million Nakfa to victims of the volcanic eruption in the Southern Red Sea region, stated Mr. Musa Rab’a, Administrator of Gash-Barka region.

Pointing out that supporting needy fellow citizens is a noble Eritreans culture, the Administrator said that the contribution has already reached the beneficiaries.  Likewise, the regional Administration has extended support to 35 families whose houses were burnt in fire accident on July 3 in Deret administrative area, Agordet sub-zone. The donation comprises tents, blankets, domestic utilities and soaps.  The inhabitants of Duluk, Daga, Adgenat and Agordet have also extended similar support to the families through rebuilding their homes.
