71 civil law prisoners in Tsetserat Correction and Rehabilitation Centre graduated after attending academic and vocational training course for six months.

Asmara, 21 July 2011 – 71 civil law prisoners in Tsetserat Correction and Rehabilitation Centre graduated after attending academic and vocational training course for six months.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, the Commander of the Centre, Lt. Colonel Mehari Werasi, noted that the Eritrean Correction and Rehabilitation Service is striving to nurture civil law prisoners in discipline and equip them with knowledge so as to become productive citizens. He called on the graduates to fully avail themselves of the opportunity provided to them.

The Commander of the Eritrean Correction and Rehabilitation Service, Brig. General Girmai Mehari, and other officials handed certificates to the graduates. Artistic works by the civil law prisoners also feature on the occasion.
