The Association of Eritrean Health Laboratory concludes fourth congress
The Association of Eritrean Health Laboratory carried out its fourth congress at the Orota national referral hospital meeting hall under the theme, “Health Laboratory: Anchor for advanced health system”.
Asmara, 25 July 2011 – The Association of Eritrean Health Laboratory carried out its fourth congress at the Orota national referral hospital meeting hall under the theme, “Health Laboratory: Anchor for advanced health system”.
The Chairman of the association, Mr. Asmerom Sium, said that the association carried out campaigns in various corners of the country last year and enhanced the number of the members by tracing laboratory experts so as to carry out the congress and underline the messages embodied to provide efficient services to the public.
The, Director of the Eritrean Health Laboratory, Mr. Meles Sium, on his part indicated that the Ministry of Health is doing its level best to strengthen the tasks of the laboratory by providing advanced lab materials and educated human resource. He also reminded the association members to further reinforce their integrity and ensure participation of fresh experts in the field.
Scientific papers pertaining topics on laboratory development, relevance of laboratory in health, as well as other related issues were presented and discussed during the vent.
