Integrated agricultural campaign being conducted in She’ib sub-zone

An integrated agricultural campaign is underway in all the administrative areas of She’ib sub-zone. She’ib, 26 July 2011 –An integrated agricultural campaign is underway in all the administrative areas of She’ib sub-zone.

The head of economic development in the sub-zone, Mr. Abdurahman Mohammed, explained that the community-based campaign includes tilling farmland, building water diversion canals and terraces.

Mr. Erimias Hidrai, head of the branch office in the Ministry of Agriculture in the sub-zone, indicated that about 7,550 hectares has been made ready for cultivation, and that anti-pesticide drugs are made available.
Meanwhile, the Administrator of Gedged, Mr. Seid Ali, said that the local inhabitants are taking active role in the task.
