Women Beneficiaries of Solar Energy and Adhanet Oven Improving Lifestyle

Women beneficiaries of solar energy devices and the Adhanet oven in Omhajer semi-urban center are improving their living standard. Omhajer, 25 July 2011 – Women beneficiaries of solar energy devices and the Adhanet oven in Omhajer semi-urban center are improving their living standard. The credit for the support goes to the NUEW branch in Gash-Barka region in collaboration with partners.

Recalling that traditional ovens were harmful to their health and tiresome, in addition to more consumption of firewood, the beneficiaries said that they are currently making effective use of Adhanet oven and solar energy at small scale.

The women in the semi-urban centre further explained that the number of beneficiaries of the Adhanet oven is increasing from time to time.
