Anseba Region: Efforts To Nurture Outstanding Students Bear Fruitful Outcome

The branch office of the Ministry of Education in Anseba region awarded the Shalot prize to 50 outstanding high school students so as to encourage them demonstrate excellence in the National School Leaving Certificate examination. Keren, 27 July 2011 – The branch office of the Ministry of Education in Anseba region awarded the Shalot prize to 50 outstanding high school students so as to encourage them demonstrate excellence in the National School Leaving Certificate examination.

The number of awardees showed significant growth from the previous years. The introduction of such awards in 2005 has also encouraged high school students to pursue their studies with added vigor.
The Administrator of Anseba region, Mr. Gergis Girmai , handed the awards to the outstanding students from 10 secondary schools in the region, and encouraged them to keep intact such commendable performance.
