Effective Reforestation Task Underway In Omhajer Administrative Area

The inhabitants of Omhajer administrative area, Golij sub-zone, are carrying out effective reforestation activities so as to preserve the natural vegetation along the banks of Setit River. Omhajer, 27 July 2011 – The inhabitants of Omhajer administrative area, Golij sub-zone, are carrying out effective reforestation activities so as to preserve the natural vegetation along the banks of Setit River.
The representative of the Agriculture Ministry’s branch office in the sub-zone, Mr. Andom Gibtsawi, indicated that about 60,000 tree seedlings are being made ready for plantation, and that some 100 hectares would be designated for this purpose. About 600 workforces are taking active role in the campaign he added.

The participants indicated that the on-going tasks are part of the continued reforestation drive in the area.
