Vigorous efforts underway in Gash-Barka region to promote health service

Efforts are being stepped up in Gash-Barka region to promote health service, disclosed Mr. Ibrahim Saleh, head of finance and administration in the branch office of the Health Ministry in the region.

Barerntu, 28 July 2011 –Efforts are being stepped up in Gash-Barka region to promote health service, disclosed Mr. Ibrahim Saleh, head of finance and administration in the branch office of the Health Ministry in the region.

He said that 98 various types of solar energy devices have been installed in all health institutions that are making due contribution towards ensuring energy supply. In this regard, Mr. Ibrahim indicated that health service in the region continues to gain momentum.

Moreover, the Ministry of Health  intends to open pharmacies in Tessenei and Agordat towns, in addition to a pharmacy in Barentu town.
