Adi-Keih, 30 July 2011 – A total of 194 students, out of whom 41 are female, graduated from Adi-Keih College of Arts and Social Sciences in degree and diploma.
Speaking at the graduation ceremony in which Ministers, regional Administrators, religious leaders, parents and invited guests took part, the Minister of Education, Mr. Semere Russom, pointed out that expanding higher educational institutions are among the top priorities of the Government. He further stated that the construction of modern infrastructure for institutions of higher learning in Adi-Keih demonstrates the achievement so far registered.
Stressing the need for the graduates to upgrade their innovative and creative potentials, the Minister called on them to live up to the nation’s expectation.
The Dean of the College, Dr. Ogbagebriel Beraki, on his part indicated that the geographic location of the College in the archeological and historical site has created conducive ground for the courses given. the College is providing educational studies in 10 fields, he added.
