Inhabitants of 16 villages in the sub zone of Areza renovated a 21 km. long road through popular campaign, reports indicated. Areza, 1 August 2011 -Inhabitants of 16 villages in the sub zone of Areza renovated a 21 km. long road through popular campaign, reports indicated.Participants of the public development campaign noted that the newly renovated road has become easy for the movement of vehicles, and called on the Ministry of Transport and Communications to dispatch buses to the line.

Furthermore, reports pointed out that the inhabitants have already begun a new campaign to renovate a road from Areza to Debre Menkorios monastery which has been out of use for over 40 years.
The Areza-Afelba road and the road to the Debre Menkorios monastery cross a handful of villages on the way and serve thousands of inhabitants.
