Recommendations Made To Maintain Land Reserves

Administrator of Ghinda sub zone, Mrs. Amna Haj Osman called on inhabitants of the area to maintain land reserves owing to its significance. She made the remarks in a meeting held at Ghinda on the significance of land reserve. During the event, Mrs. Amna said the Ghinda sub zone is surrounded by fertile land and is one of the tourist attraction sites in the country. She also said the respective sub zone is implementing the proclamation outlined by the government in 2010.

Accordingly, branch head of the Ministry of Agriculture in Ghinda sub zone, Mr. Kidane Yehdego on his part said that there are plans to construct 466 cubic meters of terraces and around 18 cubic meters of embankments and to plant a number of tree seedlings this year.

Finally, participants of the meeting assured readiness to step up efforts in the development programs. 

Area administrators, religious leaders, and village elders as well branch heads of ministries were present during the meeting.
