Effective development programs implemented in Habero sub-zone

Effective development programs have been implemented in Habero sub-zone, according to the Administrator of the sub-zone, Mr. Mohammed Nur. Habero, 3 August 2011- Effective development programs have been implemented in Habero sub-zone, according to the Administrator of the sub-zone, Mr. Mohammed Nur.He told ERINA that in continuation of the ongoing development programs aimed at improving the living standard of the inhabitants, three wells have been dug and the necessary infrastructure put in place to divert water from Anseba River and put for land in the area under cultivation.

Moreover, water diversion scheme is under construction for cultivating 20 hectares. Besides, a secondary school in the village of Aritya is under construction, in addition to renovating an elementary school in Mezret.

Reports further more indicated that the construction of additional rooms in the schools of Gelet and Habero Tselim is in progress.Mr. Mohammed Nur commended the local inhabitants of the sub-zone for their active participation in the development endeavors.
