NUEW branch in Sweden extends assistance to the union affiliate in Adi-Keih

The NUEW branch in Sweden donated 30 computers to the Union’s Adi keih affiliate for introducing internet service, said Ms. Meaza Sibhatu, head of the NUEW branch in Adi Keih town.

Adi-Keih, 3 August 2011 – The NUEW branch in Sweden donated 30 computers to the Union’s Adi keih affiliate for introducing internet service, said Ms. Meaza Sibhatu, head of the NUEW branch in Adi Keih town.
It is to be recalled that the nationals made contribution for the constructing of six rooms at a cost of 700 thousand Nakfa besides a computer training and information center in the sub-zone.

Ms. Belaynesh Keleta, from the NUEW branch in Sweden on her part said that the assistance is aimed at enhancing women’s participation in the fast growing technology sector. She also explained that the branch plans to build a meeting hall in Adi Keih at a cost of 2 million Nakfa.

Ms. Meaza Sebhatu, commended the initiatives of the NUEW branch in Sweden.
