Training given to staff members of adult education

Training is being given in the administrative regions of Anseba, Gash-Barka and Northern Red Sea to around 400 teachers, supervisors and directors regarding the newly published books for adult education program.

Keren, 3 August 2011-   Training is being given in the administrative regions of Anseba, Gash-Barka and Northern Red Sea to around 400 teachers, supervisors and directors regarding the newly published books for adult education program.

The training is aimed at strengthening the knowledge and awareness to teachers to the adult education stated Mr. Gebrezgi Demam, director general of Adult Education Department in the Ministry of Education.
He explained that in addition to the impact of adult education on the lives of the participants, it makes due contribution in the teaching-learning process.

The training comprises historical development of adult education, the advantages of the program, the purpose of adult education and future plans of the program.The participants of the training on their part called on the participation of Area Administrators and village elders in expanding and strengthening the program.
