Inhabitants of Melebso extend monetary assistance to families of martyrs

The inhabitants of Melebso administrative area, Halhal sub-zone, extended monetary assistance to 30 families of martyrs.
Halhal, 6 August 2011 – The inhabitants of Melebso administrative area, Halhal sub-zone, extended monetary assistance to 30 families of martyrs.

The administrator of the administrative area, Mr. Mohamed Ali Saleh said that each family received 1,000 Nakfa and that the local inhabitants have ploughed farm lands belonging to 95 martyrs’ families besides renovating and constructing a number of houses through popular campaigns.

Mr. Mohamed Ali further stated that the assistance made to support martyrs of fallen heroes is a vivid demonstration of the Eritrean people’s commitment to honor the trust of martyrs.

Beneficiaries of the assistance on their part said that they are leading a stable life thanks to the support of the government. They also called for maintaining such deeds which are inherited as a noble culture among the Eritrean people.
