Commendable development activities underway in Logo-Anseba sub-zone

Effective developmental activities have been carried out in different administrative areas of Logo-Anseba sub-zone, stated Mr. Ahmed Osman, Administrator of the sub-zone.

Logo-Anseba, 9 August 2011 – Effective developmental activities have been carried out in different administrative areas of Logo-Anseba sub-zone, stated Mr. Ahmed Osman, Administrator of the sub-zone.

He said that commendable soil and water conservation activity, road renovation, distribution of water pipelines and introduction of smokeless ovens, among others have been undertaken.

Mr. Ahmed further explained that additional classrooms and teachers’ residential houses have been built for Habela School, and that the installation of bee farming plant in Debr-Adi-Hanes is expected to promote honey production.

As regards health service, he stated that the health institutions in the sub-zone are rending efficient service, and that the inhabitants of Dieda have carried out exemplary sanitation campaigns in collaboration with the branch office of the  Ministry of Health  in Gash-Barka region.
