The inhabitants of Ti’o semi-urban center are making unremitting efforts to harness the agricultural potential of the area, besides their engagement in herding and fishing so as to ensure food security.

Ti’o, 13 August 2011 – The inhabitants of Ti’o semi-urban center are making unremitting efforts to harness the agricultural potential of the area, besides their engagement in herding and fishing so as to ensure food security.
In a meeting they conducted with the Administrator of the Southern Red Sea region, Mr. Ali Ahmed Mohammed, the inhabitants reiterated readiness to reinforce endeavors towards achieving food security.

The Administrator on his part encouraged the inhabitants to reinforce their efforts to become beneficiaries of agricultural production, and called on them to develop the tradition of farming. He further assured them of the Administration’s readiness to extend the necessary support.
