Satisfactory rainfall reported in many parts of the nation

Reports indicated that satisfactory rainfall was witnessed in many parts of the country today. Here in the capital, some transport routes were blocked as a result of the rain shower that continued for more than one hour.

Asmara, 13 August 2011 – Reports indicated that satisfactory rainfall was witnessed in many parts of the country today. Here in the capital, some transport routes were blocked as a result of the rain shower that continued for more than one hour.

In the Southern region, Halai, Digsa, Segeneiti, Dekemhare, Maireba, Wokerti,  Mendefera, Meraguz, Adi-Quala, Tsorona, Mai-Aini, Emni-Haili, Mai-Harasat, Kertse-Kemte, parts of Dubarba sub-zone and others obtained abundant rainfall.
