Exemplary village health representatives in Mendefera and Areza receive bicycle as Prize

A total of 50 exemplary village health representatives in 22 administrative areas have received bicycle for their commendable contribution in endeavors to control malaria and other communicable diseases. Mendefera, 15 August 2011 – A total of 50 exemplary village health representatives in 22 administrative areas have received bicycle for their commendable contribution in endeavors to control malaria and other communicable diseases.

The Administrator of Areza sub-zone, Mr. Berhane Mengesha, stated that such government initiatives is part of its continuous efforts to encourage exemplary citizens, and called on the village health representatives to step up their endeavors.

Likewise, 30 village health representatives in Mendefera sub-zone have received similar encouragement from the Administrator of the sub-zone, Mr. Suleiman Haji.
