Tinkulahas water project makes due contribution in alleviating potable water supply problem

The completion of the Tinkulahas water project is making due contribution in alleviating potable water supply problem previously encountered in Begu area, according to Eng. Zeragaber Hidrai from infrastructure department in Anseba region.

Keren, 15 August 2011 – The completion of the Tinkulahas water project is making due contribution in alleviating potable water supply problem previously encountered in Begu area, according to Eng. Zeragaber Hidrai from infrastructure department in Anseba region.

He told ERINA that 10 micro-dams have been constructed in various valleys of Tinkulahas and that a water project that operates through gravity was also provided.

The head of engineering service and administration project office in the region, Mr. Fitsum Geberezigabher, stated that the newly introduced Tinkulahas water project has opened a new door to install similar water-system to other areas.
