Presidents Isaias and Museveni hold more talks

Presidents Isaias Afwerki and Yoweri Museveni held more talks in Kampala city in the evening hours yesterday. They conducted in-depth discussion on regional peace and security, international issues, trade, investment and the like.

Asmara, 18 August 2011 – Presidents Isaias Afwerki and Yoweri Museveni held more talks in Kampala city in the evening hours yesterday. They conducted in-depth discussion on regional peace and security, international issues, trade, investment and the like.

 

It is to be recalled that during their first round meeting in Entebe on August 16, the two leaders held discussion on strengthening bilateral relations and regional as well as international issues of mutual interest. They reached understanding that relations in trade and investment should be strengthened and work together to promote peace and stability in Africa in general and the horn region in particular.

President Isaias left for Uganda on August 16 for a three-day official visit at the invitation of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni.
